Yeah, life is generally good. Except that I kind of screwed up my Chem Board Exam paper. No it ain't that bad actually, but not as good as I wanted it to be. (And that, my readers, is the metaphor for life.)
(Gawd. I sound like Charlotte Bronte.) :D
Now next is physics and I'm taking no chances with it at least. But for how long can you keep appreciating the elegant nuances of subatomic particles and the intangible dynamics of semiconductor electronics? Not that I don't like studying stuff. But I'm wishing I had studied harder last year. Heck, even this last month.
And I increasingly feel I have more inclination towards literature, languages, history, myth, art, designing, ya know, stuff like that. Non-technical intellectuality. More human stuff.
Or Life Sciences. I could read biology day in and day out and not get tired of it. And I like all that. Yeah I know I'll have enough of even that in some med course (for which I'll have a fiz exam first. Argh.) I have enough of that supposed-to-study-stuff in bio even now.
But. I'm. Supposed. To. Mug. Fiz. Now.
On second thoughts, physics is kinda cool. And people hold science people (like, real science people. Researchers, scientists.) in more awe than they do designers/authors/historians. I mean, not as people, but their work in generally more respected, or should I say, considered more erudite. Or at least that's what I have observed. (Remember Vittoria Vetra, anybody? :D)
( I wouldn't mind being a physicist if that would, in addition, also make me as lean, as confident, and as smart as what she was portrayed to be. It's not like I'm particularly horrible. Glowing skin, check. Long black hair, check. Earthy features, maybe. "Raw sensuality"? Not for myself to judge :P But slender like that? I wish.
No seriously, I think she was pretty cool. Her whole character. And driving around Rome examining old churches for clues to a wild macabre treasure-hunt-like chase...and that too with a smart, macho, swimmer-physique, Harvard-brain guy (*sigh*) while an un-found Antimatter bomb is ticking away to total annihilation. That all would be totally my thing too. :D )
See? Started off talking about physics. Guess I gotta go back to my teeny-tiny atoms and nuclei doing that crazy decay-dance of theirs.
But who would ever believe that of all the people in the world (or now out of it :D), it was nobody else but Dan Brown who inspired me to study fizix with less hatred. :D At least for some time.

Physics reminds me of my Class 10th Physics teacher. She was hot. :P
Good to know your Chemistry paper went great. And if you are wondering why I'm saying great when you have said that it was okay, it's because there's a lot of difference between your okay and my okay. My okay means I passed and since you'll be getting something over 60, it's unreal by my standards. Meanwhile, people have been saying that we might get 5 extra marks because there was no question from Electrochemistry in our set. I wish what they are saying turns out to be true.
Again, I hate the Electrostatics/Current Electricity/Magnetism part in Physics. I think I can deal with the last 3 units, some part of Optics and stuff. But I'm really bad at the beginning stuff. Even I guess I should start seriously studying because I don't wanna be in the condition I was on the last day before the Chemistry exam. I can't even tell you how I was behaving. :|
Good luck for Fizzics! :D
hey fizix..reminds u of rome....interesting topic.....but jab padha ...hey u made me feel ki library mein besides techi books like digit..novels bhi milte hain :D......i'm zero at the novel part...thnk god tumne links diye..but har link makes me more excited ki let's try novels...but u know EVEN I AM HAVING MY BOARDS....call 'em MAHA--BORED...yup bored....:D
My chm paper ws good...considering the situations i faced a week before it...haan..regardin' fizix.sample paper confusing saa ..rather weird saa hai....but jhel lete hai...saal bhar tha naa...n u must be knowing ROME WAS NOT MADE IN A DAY :D

Phew. You and your remembrances of hot teachers. :P And come on, achchha hi hua hoga chem paper...and no question from electro? Interesting...hope you ppl actually get 5 bonus marks. :)
Abhi shuru nahi kia fiz padhna?? Do that yaar...nahi toh phir se chem ke pehle wali haalat hogi...actually meri bhi huyi thee...I was kind of struggling to keep my sanity intact. And the worst part with me is, exam ho jaane ke baad I always have an insane desire to study that subject...pata nahi kyon. Of course I don't actually do that, but feel like that nonetheless. Whatever.
Goodluck to you too.
#Abhi
Cool yaar. Rome was not built in a day...hmm...I hadn't realized it applied to physics like that too... :) Great. I'll remember that....
Good to know your chem paper was good. Goodluck for Fiz.
Novels yeah...there was a time I read that stuff at the frequency of at least one each month....ab toh time bhi nahi milega :(
The Chemistry paper was okay-ish. But by your standards, my okay would almost be close to depressing. But it's okay, mera hisaab kitaab aajkal kuch different chal raha hai jiska koi logical explanation bhi nahi hai.
Physics shuru kar diya hai yaar, first day hi kar diya tha kyunki pass toh hona hi hai. And don't even ask me about my "after-exam" desires. Immediately after giving the exam, I'm like "shit yaar, kaash thoda aur achche se padha hota" and as soon as I reach home, its "Shukar hai khatam hua, ab is kitaab ki shakal bhi nahi dekhunga". But abhi to shakal dekhni padegi, competitions wagehra bhi hain.
And you have no clue what my condition before the Chemistry exam was. I had gone insane. I actually started crying out of despair..and twice. Almost chullubhar paani mein doob marne waali baat hai.
Another question, from which book are you preparing for Physics? Are you doing it from NCERT or some guide? If you are doing it from NCERT, are you doing the back questions given in the NCERT textbook?
All the best babe. I remember physics was my first board exam. I was sh*t scared. Anyway, do well, okay? :)
And I was wondering, did you get my mail?
#Ish
Yeah, hamesha aisa lagta hai ki thoda aur padhna chahiye thaa....
I'm doing it from NCERT but reading theory is not much use because the notes from my coaching classes are pretty much all that, and very concise. I started off with an intention to actually do all the NCERT questions, kuchh chapters ke kiye bhi, but since ab time kamm hai so I'm only taking a look at their solutions from a guide.
#Kash
Thanks..yeah I'll try my best. :)
No, didn't get your email.
Physics reminded me of a Book Resnick haliday and if you add current to it there is a pic in electrostatic chapter wherein a girl has all her hairs vertical up on account of static charge. Miss those days when we use to discuss from where the current is coming where it is going, which rule to apply , right hand thumb rule or left hand thumb rule :) the current is going in or out of the book sometimes it use to a board.
after today, what physics
PHysics is err...lets talk about other things only !!!
Al th best for it !!!
wow! you liked vittoria that much too?
you didn't mention her yoga.
and if you must know, i'm doing fiz hons. :P :P
anyway best of luck for the rest of your exams. i heard phy was a sucker.
#Anon
Haha...interesting :D
#Birdy
Why not? The competitions. :(
#Zahid
Thanks! :)
#Nidhi
Yeah I did. And didn't mention the yoga part beecoz I'd already got a tiny inferiority complex by the time i finished writing abt her "virtues" :D :P
Fiz hons? Cool. Did Vittoria inspire you too? :P
nah....lol...vittoria did NOT inspire me...i dunno what did...einstein maybe
